Can I use a battery not made specifically for my phone if it fits perfectly?
I have two phones – a blackberry pearl and a nokia 6133. The blackberry just burns through energy, and the nokia battery fits right in. Can I use the nokia battery when the blackberry battery dies to double battery life (the blackberry battery lasts like 8 hours, really, without bluetooth)?
Or do bad things happen when you use a battery from another brand? They’re both Li-Ion, they both fit, and they both have those four little metal plates in the corner lined up perfectly…
But how can anything bad happen? What, like explode? Cause I really know you shouldn’t but I don’t think anything bad happens
You should only use the manufacturers battery in your blackberry. But the fact that the battery only last eight hours tells me you have a Pearl. Try purchasing an extended battery or a car charger to keep your battery charged.
