what is the difference between sat nav and gps on a mobile phone?
i’m upgrading my phone and was looking at sat nav/gps function. do you have to buy a sat nav package to make use of the gps?
GPS is the transmitter/receiver which tells the sat nav program where you are. Sat nav is a program you will need installed which uses that signal to tell you where you are and where to get to somewhere else.
